The Town of Hull Fire Department was officially established in 1967 with one Engine. Ron Cornwell was the first appointed Fire Chief.
Ron Cornwell resigns as Fire Chief and Max Rutta becomes the new Fire Chief. Fleet consists of 5 trucks.
25th year anniversary. Dave Page becomes Fire Chief after Max Rutta steps down. Roster contains 12 officers and 13 firefighters. First female fire fighter, Christy Carpenter, joins department.
Mark Kluck becomes the 4th Hull FD Fire Chief.
Hull Fire Department was expanded to provide rescue extrications.
35th year anniversary. Roster contains 7 officers and 20 fire fighters.
Hull EMS begins.
A Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) is established. The primary purpose of a RIC team is to provide rescue on a fire scene in the event that a firefighter would become trapped or overcome.
Today, the Hull Fire Department has a fleet of nine fire trucks — three Engines, four Tenders, one Rescue and one Command Center. [See Apparatus page for more details.]
Hull joined Metro Fire District.
